Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all WatchSuite Chrome extensions: AliWatch, AmazWatch, TemuWatch, EbayWatch, WalmartWatch, and EtsyWatch (collectively "the Extensions"), developed and operated by WatchSuite.

1. Data We Collect

The Extensions collect and process the following data:

• Email address — used as your account identifier to send price drop alerts. We do not collect your name or any other personal information.
• Product URLs and prices — the URLs and prices of products you choose to track. This data is stored on our servers to enable price monitoring.
• Authentication token — a session token stored locally in your browser to keep you logged in.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To send you email alerts when a tracked product drops below your configured price threshold.
• To check product prices on your behalf from our servers every hour.
• To manage your subscription plan and tracked product limits.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the core functionality of price tracking and alert delivery.

3. Data Storage

Your email address and tracked products are stored securely in our database (Supabase). Authentication tokens are stored locally in your browser via Chrome's storage API and are never transmitted beyond our servers.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties, except for the following service providers necessary to operate the Extensions:

• EmailJS — used to deliver OTP verification codes and price alert emails.
• Stripe — used to process subscription payments. We do not store payment card details.
• Supabase — used for secure database storage of your tracked products and account data.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Upon deletion, your email, tracked products, and authentication tokens will be permanently removed from our systems.

6. Permissions Used

The Extensions request the following browser permissions:

• storage — to save your login token and tracked products locally.
• activeTab — to read the product page you are currently viewing when you click Scan Price.
• scripting — to inject a price detection script into the active product page.
• tabs — to identify the active marketplace tab for price scanning.
• host permissions — to access marketplace domains for price extraction and communicate with our backend server.

No permission is used for purposes beyond price tracking and alert delivery.

7. Children's Privacy

The Extensions are not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Extensions after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
